‘‘gonna keep on trying’’
Prologue
the girl next door

It is always very easy to have big dreams. But it's gonna be hard to achieve them. For too long, everyone have been wanting big changes. You know, something impactful and life changing. Like 3D Movies, Harry Potter and Facebook. I'm not complaining.

But maybe it's time for some of us to set our visions a little lower. Time to let us return to humanity and do small changes. Small changes that actually matters more.

So while everyone is out to make a big difference. I'm trying my best to make a minor difference.

In humanity. I'm still trying.
To be more selfless and less selfish.

By the way, I love 2ne1.

I'm random. If you still didnt get it. (:

Happiness
Tuesday, April 19, 2011

People ask me why I'm so happy all the time.
Let me just say,

YOU SIAO AR KNN WHERE GOT PEOPLE ALWAYS HAPPY ONE?
hahahaha.

Then there are people who say that I'm a very lucky girl.
Let me just say,

IF IM LUCKY I WOULD BE LYING IN A VILLA NOW AND NOT BE WORKING.

To put it simply, Happiness is very subjective.

Some people find happiness in having a soul mate.
Some, in eating. Some, in sports. Some, in being famous.
Some, in money. Some, in power. And the list goes on.

Some people even want to have a few or all of what's in the list.

Then it boils down to satisfaction.

It's good to want to improve and to desire a better life.
But not to the expense of not appreciating life.

In other words, I dislike it when people compare.

One thing I believe in Life is to appreciate what you have
and not constantly whine about what you cannot have.

I have a great relationship, I have a job,
I am going to start studying, I have great friends.
But I can also say I am still poor, I want to stay at home and slack, I want more!
But I don't.

And that makes a difference.

Stop comparing.

If you face a setback, DON'T EVER COMPARE.
Be it negatively or positively.

For example you have a lot of bills to pay off.
Negatively is that : " that person is lucky, he comes from a rich family, bills are nothing. "
Positively is that : " the people in a third world country lives in a worser condition. "

For the negative one, I guess you get it already.
For the positive one, reason why I dont believe in comparing with those worse off
is not cause I dont want to empathise with the poorer's plight.

But rather, you just gotta understand that the everybody has their own worries.
And to make yourself a stronger person, you just gotta pull yourself up by yourself.

Don't make yourself happy cause you are seemingly leading a better life.
Don't bash yourself up cause you are seemingly not leading a better life.

Know how to be satisfied.

Any obstacles that come are challenges to make one grow.
So grow with your own strength. Not with others flaws.

Aiya i think im going off topic. Anyway the point is.

Fight that self-piteous spirit of yours.

Happiness is a choice.
You may cry, you may fall.
But stand up.

It might take you a little while.
Just dont make it too long.

Cause no one will be there to sympathize with you for so long.
